Meet Our Newest FoodFight USA Ambassadors

The Pasta Queen

Nadia Caterina Munno, creator of The Pasta Queen, has captivated a global audience of more than 16 million followers by blending food, storytelling, humor, passion, and authentic Italian heritage. When she moved to the U.S. from Italy, Nadia was appalled by the differences between chemical-laden processed foods in the U.S. and the simple, clean ingredients in her Nonna’s recipes. When she learned about our mission at FoodFight USA, she was eager to join the Fight.

Maddy Renne

Maddy is a health influencer and young entrepreneur who has built a huge following while documenting the way she feels eating food in Europe vs. the U.S., and why those differences matter for your health. Maddy traveled to Europe this summer and learned firsthand about Demeter certification and the biodynamic farming and processing required to meet that standard – you can view her post here. Maddy has big ideas for expanding access to Demeter-certified foods in the U.S., and we can’t wait to explore them together.

Chef Johanna Hellrigl

Johanna is a chef, restaurateur, and food-systems advocate redefining what restaurants can accomplish beyond the table. She is the chef-owner of Ama, an award-winning, mission-driven Northern Italian restaurant just blocks from the U.S. Capitol in D.C. and sits on the board of the Environmental Working Group. Johanna believes real change in our food system requires connecting restaurants, farms, policy, and health. We couldn’t agree more, and we’re happy to have her in the Fight with us.

Todd Goes Deep on American Dish

This summer Todd Wagner sat down with award-winning food policy reporter Helena Bottemiller Evich for an in-depth, wide-ranging conversation on her American Dish podcast. It’s already the podcast’s most-watched episode to date, a sign of just how much this conversation has resonated. They go deep on what Todd’s learned from years in this fight, how his background as an entrepreneur informs his vision, and what he thinks it will take to fix our broken food system.

A few highlights from the podcast:

  • Behind-the-scenes stories from Todd’s meetings with California Gov. Gavin Newsom and HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

  • What GRAS means, why Todd calls it the linchpin of America’s food crisis, and how he wants to eliminate this loophole all together.

  • Why the State AGs’ fight against Big Tobacco maps almost perfectly onto ultra-processed foods.

  • Todd’s vision to use AI to triage tens of thousands of food chemicals for post-market safety review.

  • Front-of-pack labeling, the black octagon, and why warning labels matter.

  • The “real cost” of a can of Coke: subsidies, SNAP, downstream healthcare, and margin-stacking against smaller, healthier brands.

This is a must-listen for all FoodFight USA warriors and for anyone who is new to this fight!
